PIERCE SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE & DESIGNER SHOWCASE

Evolve LLC, Alvear Studio and DC Access invite you to the Pierce School Open House & Designer Showcase on Second Saturday, March 12 from noon to 4PM. Evolve LLC, the developer for the Pierce School Lofts, an adaptive reuse project that has converted the previously vacant and abandoned elementary school building into luxury loft apartments, will introduce the first four of eight long awaited lofts to be released. Evolve has taken great care to preserve the charming characteristics and details from the old school while adapting the space just enough to be suited for the new residential purpose.

Alvear Studio will present a fully furnished loft for guests to see. You might think that decorating a converted elementary school building from 1893 with 14' ceilings and over 1,100 square feet of open live/work space would be a bit daunting but not for Chris Alvear and Fransisco Pliego of Alvear Studio Design & Imports, (715 8th Street SE). Chris and Fransisco will demonstrate that the correct furniture selection and placement, along with the use of area rugs and lightscaping are all terrific ways to define individual spaces within a larger open space without the need for additional walls. The result is a home that is open and airy and filled with light.

Pierce School offers top of the line conveniences that are demanded by DC's savvy rental market. Residents who live at Pierce School Lofts will be eligible to take advantage of all kinds of amenities such as an in-ground swimming pool, spa, professional fitness room, even wireless Internet access (also known as Wi-Fi) is being provided by a local Internet service provider, DC Access. Representatives from DC Access will be available to perform a live demonstration on the benefits of Wi-Fi throughout the event.

This Open House & Designer Showcase promises to be a one-of-a kind experience for the Washington, DC area. Pierce School Lofts offer TRUE NY Style loft living now available FOR RENT in Washington, DC. This event is open to the public and admission is free. Don't miss it!
