My work, like my life, tends to be highly eclectic; I work in a variety of media and sizes expressing myself differently with each one as the selection of the media tends to dictate the approaches to working with it. Sometimes my work is very realistic; sometimes abstract, always full of pattern and color. I use single media, or a mix of media to accomplish finished pieces. As an intuitive painter and printmaker, once a piece is begun I develop it in concert with the piece itself--a dialogue, if you will, in which the piece lets me know what it needs.

My fascination with the human figure and with pattern and color is the common thread running through all my work. It is my hope that my works evokes an emotional response in the viewer.

My work has been exhibited in a host of juried shows including the Art League Gallery in Alexandria, VA, the Capitol Hill Art League in Washington D.C. and in Santa Fe, NM.
