About The Artist: Sheep Jones
ARTIST STATEMENT

I work in the construction of color on, and underneath surfaces. My subjects are deliberately simple—plants, sheds, figures—which provide the basic architecture on which to hang color. When things work, my canvas, my palette, my knife, my brush, my hand, and my eye all come together.
