Compositions

February 2 - March 31

Fact: Sir Isaac Newton ”inserted” indigo as an additional color in the spectrum, because he felt the number of colors that are found in the rainbow should match the number of notes in a musical scale.

Evolve Property Management presents… COMPOSITIONS, an exhibit of sight and sound by the Roving Artists (a group of multimedia local artists) and performers from the National Symphony Orchestra Fellows program.

People throughout history have recognized the connection between sound and color. Many composers have attempted to paint pictures for their audience through their music, likewise visual artists are often inspired by the music they listen to. Compositions includes a collection of music-inspired works by local artists. To compliment this exhibit, performers from the National Symphony Orchestra Fellows program will perform improvisational and impromptu pieces that are inspired by selections in this month's show. As an added feature, a sweet tasting menu inspired by St. Valentine will round out this sensory explosion. We look forward to seeing you there!

Regular gallery hours are 1-4 PM Monday through Friday. Additional private showings are available by appointment only. To learn more about Evolve Urban Arts Project and this month’s featured artists please visit www.evolveLLC.com and click on ‘Urban Arts Project’.
