Second Saturday Event: ART 4 ART

Evolve Urban Arts Project is proud to sponsor Art4Art a fundraising event for Theater Alliance, the resident theater company at the H Street Playhouse. This is a great opportunity! Everyone that contributes will receive a cool piece of art and a ticket to Salman Rushdie's HAROUN AND THE SEA OF STORIES now playing at H Street Playhouse. Best of all we get to keep good theater in our community.

Here's how it works:

STEP ONE: You pay just $150 ($250 for two) and get a ticket to Art4Art a fundraiser to benefit Theater Alliance.

STEP TWO: On the Second Saturday in March (3/11/06) join us at H Street Playhouse, 1365 H Street NE at 4PM for a champagne reception and the performance of Salman Rushdie's Haroun And The Sea Of Stories. Once the show is complete (around 7PM), walk around the corner to Pierce School Lofts, 1375 Maryland Avenue NE.

STEP THREE: Proceed upstairs to the main residence where you'll have a chance to view the wonderful art work created by local artists.

STEP FOUR: Eat, Drink, Schmooze, meet Helen Hayes award nominated actors, designers and directors, and the cast and crew from our current production.

STEP FIVE: Listen Up! At 8:00 we'll start drawing names. As each name is called that person selects a piece of art to take home. We promise the first piece of art will be as good as the last.

STEP SIX: Be happy. You've given money to a great cause and you are going home with a piece of art. What's not to like?

Tickets to this event will be limited by the amount of art that is available so don't delay. You can order tickets online at TheaterAlliance.com or by credit card over the phone at 1-800-494-8497.
